Cala Mondrago

Cala Mondrago is in fact two beautiful interlinked coves not far from Santanyi. The beach is situated amongst a national park and on the far side beach has picnic areas and a children’s adventure playground, while the near beach is a lot quieter. Beautiful clear water and a sandy beach attract the occasional yacht, mooring in the natural harbour for the day. You will have to park in the nature reserve car park and walk to the beach.

Cala Santanyi

Cala Santanyi is close to the town. A beautiful sandy bay protected by cliffs looks out onto clear blue waters. There are a couple of hotels and several beach restaurants and also a diving school. Ideal for children, you can hire out beds and sun umbrellas and the car park is right at the side of the beach.

Cala Llombards

Cala Llombards is another cove just past Ses Salinas. The beach is similar to Santanyi without the hotels and restaurants, although there is a very decent bar restaurant with two friendly parrots. Sun umbrellas and sun beds are available but you will not find any public conveniences at the beach.

Cala en Tugores

Cala en Tugores is situated at seven kilometres from ses Salines, and it is the most southern beach of Mallorca, together with Platja d’es Caragol. This sandy area can only be reached on foot, this is why it is the beach which is less frequented between Colònia de Sant Jordi and Cap de ses Salines. There are only two options to get there: from the lighthouse of ses Salines, walking along the coast for 3,6 kilometres, or from Colònia de Sant Jordi along its beaches (es Port, es Dolç and es Carbó) for 5,4 kilometres and one hour of duration.
